Compression bandaging with Pütter

Compression therapy with the application of two counter-running bandages is still common treatment as it was 50 years ago, when the Pütter bandaging technique was first described in the medical literature by Gustav Pütter.

Bandaging with Pütter achieves fast decongestion, because it produces a high working pressure with a relatively low resting pressure. This means that the muscular venous pump is actively supported. And what is more, Pütter bandages are very economical, as they regain their original elasticity after washing, which means that their effectiveness is not compromised and they can be reused many times.

Now another product has been added to the Pütter product family: PütterFlex
